Craft and Set Up Your First Machine Gun

Gather Materials

Before crafting, collect the base materials required. Check your crafting table recipe book for the specific machine gun you want—the MG34 and MG42 are the primary options. You'll need iron, wood, and other standard Minecraft materials depending on which weapon you're building.

Craft at the Crafting Table

Open your crafting table and locate the machine gun recipe. Arrange the materials in the correct pattern shown in the recipe grid. Once crafted, the weapon will appear in your inventory.

Equip and Fire

Place the machine gun in your hotbar and select it. Hold the right mouse button to begin firing. The gun will consume ammunition as you shoot, so ensure you've also crafted ammo beforehand. For mounted weapons like the MG42, you may need to place them on a surface first before operating them.

Manage Ammunition

Keep extra ammo in your inventory or nearby storage. Different guns may use different ammunition types, so craft accordingly. Running out of ammo mid-combat leaves you vulnerable, so prepare surplus before heading into dangerous areas.
