Decorate Large Areas with Matching Flower Patches
Planning Your Design
Decide which flower type you want to use for your decoration. Flower patches work best when you create multiple patches of the same flower throughout your area, giving a dense, lush appearance.
Creating Multiple Patches Efficiently
Gather a large quantity of your chosen flower type. Create patches by combining flowers or using bonemeal on placed flowers. Since each patch holds up to four flowers, you'll need multiple patches to cover significant ground.
Placement Strategy
Place patches close together to create a dense flower field. You can arrange them in patterns or scatter them naturally. Because patches take up only one block space while displaying multiple flowers, they're space-efficient compared to spreading individual flowers across many blocks.
Mixing Patch Types
While individual patches cannot mix flower types, you can create separate patches of different flowers nearby. This lets you build colorful gardens with distinct sections—one patch area of roses, another of tulips, creating visual variety while maintaining the density each patch provides.
