Locating Natural Spawns

Flowers spawn randomly in small groups throughout most biomes—explore plains, forests, jungles, and other terrain types. Cacti appear exclusively in desert biomes. New plant clusters generate every few chunks, so travel across the landscape to discover them.

Harvesting Efficiently

Break any flower or cactus with your hand or any tool. Each plant drops 2 seeds and 1 petal. Collect these drops and store them for farming or trading. Early game, focus on gathering seeds to establish your first farm plots.

Village Flower Fields

Some villages generate with dedicated flower and cactus fields depending on the village type and your mod configuration. These pre-made farms are excellent early-game sources—harvest them to jumpstart your dye production without extensive exploration.

If natural spawning feels too sparse, check your mod's config file to adjust spawn rarity and density to suit your preference.
