Set Up an Efficient Bow Production Line
Prepare Your Workstations
Arrange your
Shaving Horse,
Steam Box, and Fletching Table in a logical workflow. Place them close together to minimize travel time between steps. This setup becomes your bow factory.
Batch Process Rough Limbs
The Steam Box can process up to 16 items simultaneously as long as you keep it filled with water. Collect multiple raw logs and run them through the Shaving Horse in batches, then steam them all at once. This is much faster than processing one bow at a time.
Stock Your Materials
Gather a large supply of risers and string before you start. Having materials ready means you can move smoothly from steaming to assembly without stopping to gather more resources.
Optimize Water Supply
Keep water buckets or a water source nearby for quick Steam Box refills. A flowing water channel nearby can speed up the process significantly.
Assembly Line Assembly
Once limbs are pliable, move them to the Fletching Table and assemble them in sequence. With practice, you'll develop a rhythm that lets you produce multiple quality bows in a single session.
