Daily Patterns

Animatronics follow a strict day-night cycle. During daylight hours, they remain on their designated stages and pose no threat. As night falls, they become active and begin hunting players throughout the world. When dawn breaks, they automatically return to their stages regardless of their location.

Hunting Mechanics

During night hours, the 42 different animatronics roam your world with varying behaviors. Most will actively pursue players they detect. Some animatronics have specialized AI—for example, Withered Foxy has unique tracking patterns that make it more unpredictable than standard animatronics.

Survival Strategy

Plan your activities around the day-night cycle. Complete outdoor tasks during daylight when animatronics are inactive. If caught outside at night, use the Freddy mask or seek shelter in a secure building. Understanding each animatronic's behavior helps you predict movement patterns and avoid encounters.
