How to Toggle First-Person Model Mod On and Off In-Game

You don't need to leave your world or restart the game to switch between the vanilla first-person view and the enhanced body-view perspective. The mod gives you a quick keybind for this.

Using the Default Toggle Key

Press F6 while in-game to flip between the vanilla first-person camera and the mod's third-person-model view. The change applies instantly, so you can compare the two perspectives without pausing. If F6 is already bound to another function in your setup, the toggle may not fire — check your controls.

Rebinding the Toggle

1. Open Options → Controls → Key Binds.

2. Search for the First-person Model Mod category.

3. Click the toggle entry and press the key you want to use instead.

4. Save and return to the game.

When the Toggle Seems Not to Work

• Make sure the mod is actually loaded (check your mods list).
• Confirm the key isn't conflicting with another mod's bind.
• Some configurations may hand control back to vanilla automatically depending on what you're holding or where you're looking — that's the Vanilla Hands behavior, not a broken toggle.

Once bound comfortably, you can flip views mid-fight or mid-build without breaking your flow.
