Find Diamonds Using the Compass
Locating Diamonds Efficiently
The Finder Compass can point you directly toward diamond ore, making mining runs much more productive.
Finding Diamonds
1. Hold your Finder Compass and right-click until you reach a mode that tracks diamonds or valuable ores
2. The needle will point toward the nearest diamond deposit
3. Travel in the direction the needle points
4. As you move closer, the needle will adjust to keep pointing at the target
5. When you're directly above or below the diamonds, the needle may spin or point downward
6. Mine down carefully to reach the ore
Tips for Success
- The compass only points to the nearest target, so after mining one deposit, right-click again to find the next closest one
- Diamonds are typically found deep underground, so you may need to descend significantly
- The compass works through blocks, so don't worry if your view is obstructed
- If the needle spins wildly, you've likely found the location but need to dig to expose the ore
