Making Your First Finder Compass

If your server requires crafting, you'll need to make the compass yourself using a crafting table.

Crafting Recipe

1. Gather one standard compass and four diamonds

2. Open a crafting table

3. Place the compass in the center square

4. Place one diamond in each of the four adjacent squares (left, right, top, and bottom)

5. Leave the corner squares empty

6. Collect your Finder Compass from the output slot

When Crafting is Required

Some servers disable the Finder Compass as a default item and require players to craft it. Check with your server admin if you're unsure whether crafting is necessary. On other servers, the compass may already be available in your inventory or through creative mode.

Once crafted, the Finder Compass works immediately—no additional setup needed.
