Understand Each Buddy Type's Strengths

Human Buddies

Steve Buddy excels at defense with higher base durability. Alex Buddy trades defense for speed, moving faster and spawning more rarely. Both draw hostile monster attention away from you, making them excellent tanks.

Monster Buddies

Zombie Buddy hits hard and defends well but moves slowly and burns in sunlight—keep them in caves or give them a helmet. They inflict hunger on enemies they hit.

Skeleton Buddy moves quickly and gains health when defeating mobs, but fears sunlight and untamed wolves. Use them for fast-paced combat.

Creeper Buddy can explode multiple times without dying, dealing damage to enemies. Be careful—they deal friendly fire to nearby allies, so position them away from other buddies.

Wither Skeleton Buddy moves slowly with lower health but delivers devastating attacks that inflict the wither effect on targets. Their wither damage makes them excellent against tough enemies.
