Start by placing a stove block on the ground. This acts as a heat source for cooking. You can use a brick stove or similar TFC heat block. The stove must be actively heated to cook food.

Cooking a Meal

1. Gather raw ingredients from the world—meat, vegetables, grains, or foraged items

2. Hold your ingredients and right-click the stove to open the skillet interface

3. Add ingredients according to the recipe you want to make

4. The skillet will automatically adjust its heating method based on what you're cooking

Managing Heat

The stove block provides consistent heat for cooking. Make sure it's properly fueled and active before starting. Different meals may require different heat levels, and the skillet adapts automatically. If your meal isn't cooking, check that your heat source is still active and the stove block is functioning correctly.
