Locating Copper Ore

Copper ore generates throughout the expanded world height, particularly between Y=-16 and Y=112. Mine downward to find large copper veins in stone and deepslate. Use an iron pickaxe or better to successfully harvest copper ore.

Smelting and Crafting

Smelt raw copper in a furnace or blast furnace to obtain copper ingots. Copper blocks can be crafted from ingots and used for building. The mod includes full copper block sets: stairs, slabs, walls, and decorative variants.

Weathering and Oxidation

Copper blocks exposed to air gradually weather through stages, changing color from orange to green over time. This creates natural patina effects perfect for aged or weathered builds. You can use waxed copper variants to lock in a specific weathering stage. Lightning rods made from copper are also useful for lightning protection and redstone applications on tall structures.
