Cutting Ingredients on a Cutting Board

2. Hold your knife and interact with raw ingredients on the cutting board

3. The knife will slice vegetables and other foods into smaller pieces or specific cuts

4. Collect the prepared ingredients from the cutting board

Gathering Straw and Plant Materials

Use your knife to harvest straw from wild grass and tall grass blocks. This is useful for crafting and composting. Right-click grass blocks with your knife equipped to gather straw efficiently.

Knife Durability

Knives have durability and will eventually wear out with use. Repair them using standard Minecraft repair methods, or craft new ones as needed. Keep multiple knives on hand if you're doing heavy food preparation work.
