Work with Multiple Food Mods and Custom Food Tags
Compatibility with Other Food Mods
Farmer's Delight Contracts & Feasts is designed to work with other food mods installed alongside it. The system uses Minecraft's food tag system to recognize items from different mods, so custom foods from other cooking mods can appear in contracts if they're properly tagged.
What This Means for Your Gameplay
If you have additional food mods installed, you may see contracts requesting items you wouldn't normally find in vanilla Farmer's Delight. These cross-mod orders work exactly like regular contracts—cook the food, pack it in a
Contract Box, and deliver it for your reward.
Tips for Multi-Mod Setups
1. Pay attention to
contract tickets; they'll show you which mod's food is being requested
2. Make sure you have the recipes for any mod foods you're asked to cook
3. Mod foods often follow the same cooking mechanics (cutting boards, cooking pots) as Farmer's Delight recipes
4. If a contract requests an item you don't recognize, check your crafting menu or recipe book to locate it
5. The reward system still scales based on recipe complexity, so mod foods requiring multiple steps pay better
