The mod places special miner villagers deep underground in cave systems. These miners add life to the subterranean world and create unexpected encounters while mining.

Finding Miners in Caves

1. Explore deep cave networks - Miners spawn at lower depths, so venture below Y-level 0 for better chances.

2. Search branching tunnels - Miners appear in various cave chambers, not just main passages.

3. Look for torches and cleared areas - Miners create small workspaces with torches and mined blocks, making them easier to spot.

4. Increase exploration time - Spend more time caving to encounter them; they don't spawn everywhere.

What Miners Offer

Miners can be traded with like regular villagers, offering unique deals related to mining and resources. They may also drop special loot when defeated, though trading is typically more rewarding.

Customization

If miner spawns feel too common or rare, adjust the event timer in Mods > Config. You can also disable miner spawning entirely if you prefer caves without encounters. This gives you full control over underground exploration dynamics.
