How to Install and Enable FancyFast Bushy Leaves in Minecraft

Placing the Pack Correctly

FancyFast Bushy Leaves is a resource pack, not a mod, so it does not go in your mods folder. Open your Minecraft installation folder and locate the resourcepacks directory. Drop the pack file (or its unzipped folder, depending on how it was distributed) directly into that folder. Do not nest it inside another folder, or Minecraft will not detect it.

Activating It In-Game

Launch Minecraft and go to Options → Resource Packs. You should see FancyFast Bushy Leaves listed under Available Packs on the left. Click the arrow to move it to Selected. Make sure it sits above any other pack that also edits leaf textures, otherwise the other pack will override the bushy look. Click Done and give the game a moment to reload textures.

Confirming It Works

Walk into a forest, jungle, or mangrove swamp. Leaves should now render with the fuller, layered bushy silhouette instead of the flat vanilla cube. If leaves still look vanilla, check that the pack is actually enabled and that no higher-priority pack is overriding leaf models. If performance feels worse than expected, lower your render distance or disable fancy graphics, since bushy leaf models multiply the number of rendered faces per block.
