How to Fix Leaves Still Looking Flat After Installing FancyFast Bushy Leaves

Check Pack Priority First

Bushy leaf packs work by replacing leaf block models and textures. If another resource pack above FancyFast Bushy Leaves also touches leaves, its flat models win. Open Options → Resource Packs and drag FancyFast Bushy Leaves to the top of the Selected list. Apply and reload.

Rule Out Conflicting Mods

Some performance or optimization mods replace leaf rendering with their own fast path, which can bypass resource pack models entirely. If you use such a mod, check its settings for a "fast leaves" or "smart leaves" toggle and turn it off so the pack's models are used. Similarly, any mod that adds custom leaf blocks (from other biomes or tree mods) will not be affected by this pack, since it only covers vanilla leaf types.

Verify the Right Leaf Types

This pack targets vanilla leaves. If only some trees look bushy and others do not, you are likely looking at modded leaves. Also confirm you are not in a resource pack that forces "fast" graphics; set Graphics to Fancy in Video Settings, because bushy models need fancy rendering to display properly. After changing settings, press F3+T to reload resources without restarting.
