How to Combine FancyFast Bushy Leaves With Shaders and Other Packs
Order Matters
Resource packs apply top-down, so put FancyFast Bushy Leaves above any pack that also edits leaves but below packs that change unrelated textures you want to keep (like GUI or item packs). In Options → Resource Packs, arrange them so nothing above the bushy pack overrides leaf models or textures.
Shader Compatibility
Shaders read the leaf models the pack provides, so bushy leaves usually carry over into shaderpacks. However, shader leaf waving and wind effects can look odd or cost extra performance on the added geometry. If leaves flicker or clip, disable the shader's waving option or switch to a shader profile with simpler foliage. Test in a jungle at night, where lighting and shadow cost peaks.
Mixing With Optimization Mods
Mods that cache or simplify leaf rendering may conflict. If leaves revert to flat after adding such a mod, disable its leaf-specific optimization. Keep the bushy pack as the single authority on leaf appearance. When combining multiple packs, reload with F3+T after each change and check a jungle, swamp, and dark oak forest to confirm all vanilla leaf types still render bushy and stable.
