Enable Fancy Gear Textures for Your Armor
Verify Resource Pack Installation
Once Fancy Gear is installed, open your world or create a new one. Pause the game and navigate to Settings > Resource Packs. Look for "Fancy Gear | Reshaded Equipment" in the available packs list on the left side.
Activate the Pack
Click the pack name, then select the
arrow button pointing right to move it into the Active column. The pack should now appear above the default Minecraft resources. Close the menu and return to your world—your armor, tools, and weapons will immediately display the enhanced shading and vibrancy.
Verify Visual Changes
Equip iron, gold, or diamond armor to see the shinier, bump-mapped appearance. Check your tools and weapons in your inventory or hotbar. Tridents, maces, bows, crossbows, and fishing rods should display recolored textures matching the upgraded visual theme. If textures appear unchanged, restart your game client to force a resource pack reload.
Adjust Pack Priority
If other resource packs conflict with Fancy Gear, drag it higher in the active list to give it priority. Packs listed higher override those below them.
