Disable Fancy Gear Temporarily

To see the difference between vanilla and enhanced textures, pause your game and open Settings > Resource Packs. Select "Fancy Gear | Reshaded Equipment" from the active column and click the left arrow to move it back to available packs. Your equipment will revert to vanilla textures immediately.

Examine Key Items Side-by-Side

Equip diamond armor and observe the flat, matte appearance. Open your inventory and look at tools like pickaxes and swords. Note the dull coloring on secondary gear like bows, crossbows, and tridents. These represent the vanilla baseline.

Re-enable Fancy Gear

Move the pack back to active. Now compare the same items—you'll see enhanced contrast, deeper shading, and more vibrant colors. Iron and gold armor gain a metallic sheen, while all tools and weapons appear more polished and cohesive.

Evaluate Visual Preference

The pack maintains faithful 16× pixel art style while modernizing the appearance. If you prefer the enhanced look, keep it active. If vanilla aesthetics suit your playstyle better, leave it disabled.
