Troubleshoot Frame Placement and Visibility Issues

Frame Not Appearing

If your frame doesn't show after crafting and placing, ensure you used a vanilla item frame or painting as the center ingredient. The mod frames the vanilla frame—it doesn't replace it entirely.

Removing or Changing Frames

To remove a frame from a placed item or painting, hold Shift and right-click on it. This should allow you to interact with the underlying vanilla frame and adjust or remove the decoration.

Frame Clipping with Blocks

Frames may visually overlap with adjacent blocks depending on your camera angle. This is normal. Try rotating your view or moving the frame slightly away from corners to improve visibility.

Item Not Visible Inside Frame

Make sure your item is actually placed inside the frame by right-clicking on the frame with the item in hand. Small items may be hard to see; try using larger or more colorful items for better visibility.

Performance

If you have many frames, they should render smoothly, but ensure your render distance and graphics settings are appropriate for your system.
