Prepare Your Painting Frame

Just like item frames, you can apply decorative frames to paintings. Craft a framed painting by placing four blocks of your chosen material around a vanilla painting in the crafting grid.

Place Your Framed Painting

Place the framed painting on a wall as you would normally place a painting. It will hang in its usual way but now surrounded by your selected frame material, creating an elegant gallery effect.

Create a Gallery Wall

Combine multiple framed paintings with different materials to create themed gallery displays. Use matching frame materials to unify the look, or mix materials for an eclectic art collection. Wooden frames work well for cozy cottages, while Stone or Copper frames suit more formal halls.

Shift-Click Adjustment

If you need to modify or remove a frame after placement, hold Shift and right-click on the painting to interact with it directly.
