Enable the Custom Skybox for Day and Night
Verify Pack Activation
The Fake Shades IterationT Resource Pack includes a custom skybox that replaces Minecraft's default sky during both day and night cycles. First, confirm the pack is properly loaded in your resource pack menu—it should appear in your active packs list with a preview thumbnail.
Check Compatibility Settings
The custom skybox works best when:
- You're using OptiFine or Sodium (the pack is optimized for both)
- Your render distance is set to at least 8 chunks
- You're not using conflicting skybox mods or resource packs
Observe the Sky Changes
Load into your world and watch the sky cycle through day and night. You'll notice:
- A warm, gradient sky during daytime
- A starry, darker sky at night
- Smooth transitions during sunset and sunrise
- The sky reflecting the pack's overall color grading
If the custom sky doesn't appear, disable other skybox-modifying packs and restart your game. The pack's sky is a core visual feature and should load automatically once activated.
