Adjust Color Saturation and Warmth to Your Preference
Access Resource Pack Settings
The Fake Shades IterationT Resource Pack applies a warm color filter and adjusted saturation across your world. If the default look feels too warm or not warm enough, you can fine-tune the appearance through your graphics settings.
Modify Visual Output
Since this pack works with OptiFine and Sodium, open your video settings and adjust:
- Brightness: Increase or decrease to control how vibrant the soft lighting appears
- Contrast: Modify to make colors pop more or appear softer
- Saturation (if available in your launcher): Dial back saturation if colors feel oversaturated, or increase it for more vivid tones
- Gamma: Raise gamma slightly to brighten darker areas while maintaining the pack's warm aesthetic
Test Different Times of Day
The custom skybox changes significantly between day and night. Visit your world at different times to see how the warm color grading interacts with the dynamic sky. Sunset and sunrise hours showcase the pack's lighting effects most dramatically.
If you want the pack's colors without the custom sky, check your resource pack folder for optional sky texture toggles.
