Troubleshoot Flat or Missing Texture Details

Check Your Pack Load Order

If textures look flat and lack depth, the most common cause is incorrect pack ordering. Open your resource pack list and confirm Faithful PBR 256x is above the base Faithful 32x pack. Swap their positions if needed and reload your world.

Confirm Shaders Are Running

PBR effects require an active shader. Press the shader menu key (usually F2 or a custom bind) and verify a shader is selected and enabled. Try switching to a different LabPBR-compatible shader to rule out shader-specific issues.

Verify Both Packs Are Present

You must have both packs installed. Check your resource packs folder and ensure you have:

• The base Faithful 32x pack
• The Faithful PBR 256x overlay pack

If only one is installed, download and add the missing pack. Restart your game after adding new packs.
