Set Up Faithful PBR 256x with Your Shader Pack

Load Both Packs in the Correct Order

Faithful PBR 256x is an overlay pack and must be loaded on top of the base Faithful 32x pack. In your resource pack menu, ensure Faithful 32x appears below Faithful PBR 256x in the active list—packs higher in the list take priority.

Enable a Compatible Shader

The realistic lighting effects (normal maps, ambient occlusion, and material properties) only appear when you use a shader pack. Open your shader settings in-game and select a shader that supports LabPBR materials. Without shaders enabled, the pack will still work but will look flat.

Verify PBR Effects Are Active

Look at textured blocks like wood, stone, or metal. You should see:

• Bumpy, three-dimensional surfaces instead of flat textures
• Realistic shadows in crevices and corners
• Light reflecting naturally off shiny surfaces like emerald or gold

If blocks still appear flat, check that both packs are loaded and your shader is active. Restart your game if needed.
