Getting Started with Extended Block Shapes

Using New Block Variants

This mod expands many vanilla blocks with additional shapes beyond their standard forms. When you obtain a block that has extended variants, you can craft or obtain stairs, slabs, fences, fence gates, buttons, and pressure plates in that block's material.

Beyond standard shapes, the mod introduces unique variants: vertical slabs (slabs oriented upright), vertical stairs, quarter pieces (smaller block segments), and vertical quarter pieces. These allow you to build with finer detail and create more intricate architectural features.

Experiment with combining different shapes of the same block to achieve complex patterns and refined structures that wouldn't be possible with vanilla blocks alone.
