Expanded Weaponry offers four main melee weapon types, each suited to different combat situations. Before crafting, consider whether you want to deal burst damage, control crowds, or maintain distance.

Weapon Comparison

Hammers are your choice for raw power. They deal massive damage per hit and can eliminate tough enemies in two strikes, but swing slowly—use them against single dangerous mobs like Endermen or Wardens.

Daggers excel at speed and multi-target hits. Perfect for clearing groups of weak mobs like Zombies and Skeletons quickly. You'll land more attacks but deal less per swing.

Twin Blade Swords balance speed and power. They swing faster than greatswords while still dealing solid damage, making them ideal for mixed encounters with both weak and strong enemies.

Greatswords provide reach and sustained damage. Their long range keeps enemies at bay while you deal consistent harm—excellent for kiting and controlling space in tight caves.

Crafting Tip

Start with materials you have abundant access to. All weapon types can be crafted from wood, stone, iron, or diamond, so test different styles without committing rare resources.
