How to Build a Wireless Redstone Circuit
Placing the Transmitter and Receiver
Essentials Mod adds wireless Redstone so you can trigger a circuit across a distance without running dust. Craft the wireless transmitter and receiver blocks, then place the transmitter where your input signal originates (a lever, button, or pressure plate feeding into it) and the receiver where you want the output.
Linking the Pair
1. Place the transmitter block and give it a Redstone input from your source.
2. Place the receiver block at the destination.
3. Right-click the transmitter, then right-click the receiver to bind them into a frequency pair. Repeat for additional pairs if you want multiple independent channels.
4. Power the transmitter — the receiver should now emit a Redstone signal from its output face.
Practical Uses
Wireless Redstone is ideal for triggering doors, pistons, or lamps in locations where running dust is ugly or impossible, such as across a lake, between two buildings, or through a wall. You can also use it to link a farm's harvest trigger to a collection system far away. Keep transmitter and receiver counts matched per channel so signals do not cross. If a receiver stops responding, re-bind the pair — chunk unloading or breaking one block of the pair will sever the link.
