How to Repair and Maintain Slavic Armory Gear
Why Maintenance Matters
Slavic Armory armor and weapons take durability damage like vanilla gear. Repairing them extends their life and saves you from re-crafting expensive plate pieces.
Repairing at an Anvil
1. Place an anvil and right-click it to open the interface.
2. Put the damaged armor or weapon in the left slot.
3. Put the matching repair material in the right slot. For metal armor, this is usually the same ingot used to craft it; for leather-backed pieces, use leather.
4. Watch the XP cost shown in the bar. If it's too high, combine two partially damaged identical pieces instead — this often costs less.
5. Take the repaired item from the output slot.
Combining and Enchanting
- Combine two of the same armor piece in an anvil to merge durability and keep enchantments from both.
- Enchant Slavic armor with Protection, Unbreaking, and Mending where available. Mending is the best long-term fix because it repairs using XP orbs.
- If your modpack has a grindstone, use it to strip unwanted enchantments before combining.
Preventing Wear
- Avoid unnecessary hits — block with a shield instead of tanking damage.
- Keep a backup set in a chest near your base.
- Store spare repair ingots in your ender chest so you always have them on hand.
