Creating Your Fish Pen

Build an enclosed water structure using blocks to contain your carp. The pen needs to hold water and be accessible for you to interact with the fish inside. A simple rectangular pool works well, but you can make it as large or decorative as you like.

Breeding Carp

Once you've caught carp and placed them in your water pen, you'll need seeds to breed them. Hold seeds and right-click on a carp to feed it. After feeding multiple carp, they will breed and produce offspring in the water.

Keep your pen well-lit and maintain the water level to ensure healthy breeding. You can harvest the carp by catching them with a fishing rod or by hand. A larger pen allows you to maintain a bigger population, giving you a steady food supply without needing to hunt in the wild.
