Locating Rideable Mobs

The mod adds several animals you can ride across the landscape. Search forests, plains, and biome variants for these creatures. Different animals spawn in different environments—check multiple biomes to find the variety available.

Taming and Riding

Approach the animal carefully and interact with it using the appropriate item or action (this varies by mob type). Once tamed, you should be able to mount and ride the animal to travel faster than walking.

Benefits of Riding

Rideable animals let you explore your world more quickly and traverse difficult terrain. They're especially useful for long journeys or when you need to move between your base and hunting grounds. Some rideable animals may have special abilities or handling characteristics, so experiment with different types to find your favorite.
