Reforge a Weapon and Change Its Affinity
Preparing for Reforging
Reforging changes your weapon's properties and appearance without losing enchantments, durability, or custom names. You'll need a smithing table and the correct reagent for your desired affinity.
The Reforging Process
Place your weapon and the affinity reagent into a smithing table. The weapon will transform with a new animated texture matching its element. Each affinity grants different combat benefits:
- Sharp (Gold Ingot): Bonuses after dodging
- Raw (Netherite Ingot): Bonuses when taking damage
- Refined (Diamond): Increased stamina
- Frosty (Blue Ice): Builds Frostbite on hit
- Bloody (Nether Wart): Inflicts Bleed
- Poisonous (Vine): Inflicts Poison
- Fiery (Blaze Powder): Sets targets on fire
- Dark (Wither Skeleton Skull): Applies Dark status
- Holy (Nether Star): Heavy attacks launch holy projectiles
- Magic (Amethyst Shard): Heavy attacks launch magic projectiles
- Occult (Rotten Flesh): Stores damage taken, heals on hits
Resetting
Use an Iron Ingot to reset any weapon to its base form.
