How to Reset Enhanced Attack Indicator to Default Settings

If you have experimented with styles and display toggles and now want the familiar vanilla-like behaviour back, you can return the mod to its defaults without reinstalling anything.

Restoring Defaults Through the Config

Open the mod's configuration screen and look for a reset or restore-defaults button. Using it returns every option — style, visibility toggles, and display settings — to the values the mod shipped with. Confirm the reset, then close the screen. If your config screen has no reset button, you can instead delete or rename the mod's config file while the game is closed; the mod will regenerate a fresh default file the next time you launch.

Verifying the Result

After resetting, enter a world and swing at a mob or block. The indicator should behave like the default configuration: the standard style with the mod's out-of-the-box visibility rules. If it still looks customised, check that you edited the correct config file and that no other mod is overriding the same HUD element.

Starting Over Selectively

You do not have to reset everything. If only one setting is causing trouble, note the defaults shown in the config, change just that option back, and leave your preferred style in place. Keeping a copy of your config file before experimenting makes it easy to restore a setup you liked without redoing every toggle by hand.
