Use Energy Meter as a Power Sink
Switching to Consumer Mode
Open the
Energy Meter's interface and switch it to Consumer Mode. In this mode, the block absorbs all incoming energy instead of passing it through to outputs.
Absorbing Excess Power
Connect your power cables to the input side. The meter will now act like an energy trash can, safely absorbing excess power from your system. This is useful when you have more generation than your machines need, or when testing power sources without risking damage to equipment.
Monitoring Absorption
The display continues showing the transfer rate, so you can see exactly how much power is being absorbed. This helps you understand your system's total generation capacity and identify when you need to add more consumers or reduce power output.
