Use Exchangers to Transfer Energy Between Systems
What Exchangers Do
Exchangers are devices that move energy from one point to another, useful for connecting separate power networks or redistributing energy across your base. The Redstone Resonant exchanger is a high-tier option for late-game energy transfer.
Placing and Connecting Exchangers
Position your exchanger between two power networks or cable runs. Connect energy cables to both sides—one side will pull power in, the other will push it out. The exchanger acts as a bridge, allowing energy to flow between otherwise disconnected systems.
Configuring Direction and Rate
Exchangers can be adjusted to control which direction energy flows and how much transfers per tick. Use a wrench or configuration tool to set the input and output faces. This prevents backflow and ensures energy reaches where it's needed most.
Advanced Use
- Stack multiple exchangers to create energy distribution hubs
- Combine with Redstone control for conditional energy routing
- Use exchangers to balance power between multiple machines
