Set Up Your First Ender Tank for Fluid Storage

Building the Tank Structure

Ender Tanks allow you to store and access fluids from multiple locations. Start by placing a Tank Frame as your base. This forms the hollow interior where fluids will be stored. Surround the frame with additional Tank Frames to increase capacity—larger tanks hold more fluid.

Installing Valves and Controllers

Attach a Valve to any side of your tank frame to input or output fluids. Connect fluid pipes from your machines to this valve. Place an Energy Input Controller on another face to power the tank; Ender Tanks require energy to function. Supply power via cables from your Thermal Expansion setup.

Accessing Your Tank Remotely

Once built and powered, craft additional Ender Tank blocks and place them anywhere in your world. They will automatically link to your main tank and allow you to deposit or withdraw the same fluids. This is invaluable for transporting liquids across long distances without laying pipe networks.

Tips

  • Ensure your tank has sufficient power before adding fluids
  • Multiple valves can be placed for simultaneous input/output
  • Tank capacity scales with the number of frame blocks used
