Understanding Charge Pads

Charge Pads are specialized blocks that transfer energy to compatible items and blocks. They're essential for powering portable tools and filling energy-based equipment without needing to place them in machines.

Setting Up a Charge Pad

Place a Charge Pad on the ground and connect it to a power source using energy cables from Thermal Expansion or another mod. The pad will begin drawing power from the network. Position items or blocks on top of the pad—they will automatically begin charging if they're compatible with the mod's energy system.

Charging Portable Equipment

Place your charged tools, weapons, or portable devices directly on the pad. Energy will transfer gradually. Leave items on the pad until they reach full charge. Multiple items can be charged simultaneously if space allows.

Optimization Tips

• Position Charge Pads near your main power generation for efficiency
• Use multiple pads if you frequently charge many items
• Ensure your power supply can sustain the charging rate to avoid bottlenecks
