Finding and Harvesting Mirestone

Mirestone is a valuable ore found primarily in the Corrupt Barrens biome, where corruption has decayed the landscape. It appears in veins throughout this hostile region.

Locating Corrupt Barrens

Travel outward from the main End islands into unexplored territory. Corrupt Barrens appear as visibly decayed areas with distinctive corrupted terrain blocks. The biome has a darker, more hostile atmosphere compared to other End biomes.

Mining Mirestone

Once you've found Mirestone ore, use an iron pickaxe or better to extract it. The ore drops raw Mirestone, which you can smelt or process into usable materials. Mirestone variants exist throughout the biome—some are decorative blocks, while others are ore nodes worth harvesting.

Safety Tips

Corrupt Barrens are dangerous. Bring armor and weapons, as hostile mobs spawn frequently here. Watch your footing on unstable terrain, and consider bringing blocks for building escape routes. The corruption can make navigation tricky, so mark your path back to safety.
