Collecting Drift Jelly from Drifters

Drifters and Driftlets are passive floating mobs that inhabit the End. They're a renewable source of Drift Jelly, a material used in crafting and building.

Finding Drifters

Drifters spawn naturally throughout the End dimension, particularly in open areas and around floating islands. They're passive creatures, so they won't attack you. Driftlets are smaller variants that also drop Drift Jelly.

Harvesting Drift Jelly

Simply defeat Drifters to collect Drift Jelly. Since they're passive, you can kill them with any weapon, though a sword is most efficient. Each Drifter drops a predictable amount of Drift Jelly.

Using Drift Jelly

Drift Jelly is used in various crafting recipes and can be placed as a decorative or functional block. It interacts with the End's bounce and movement mechanics, making it useful for mobility builds and contraptions. Collect enough to experiment with different applications.
