How to Craft and Use Your First Ender Backpack

Gathering Materials

Before crafting an Ender Backpack, you'll need to collect the required materials. The recipe typically involves Ender Pearls and other mid-game resources. Check your crafting table or JEI/NEI to see the exact recipe for your mod version.

Crafting the Backpack

Once you have the materials, place them in your crafting table according to the recipe pattern. The Ender Backpack will appear in the output slot—take it and add it to your inventory.

Accessing Your Storage

With the Ender Backpack in your inventory, simply right-click while holding it to open the portable storage interface. This opens the same shared inventory as a traditional Ender Chest, so any items you store here will be accessible from any Ender Backpack or Ender Chest you own.

Tips for Use

You don't need to place the backpack down—it works from your inventory. This makes it perfect for mining trips, exploration, or any situation where you need quick access to your stored items without setting up a chest. Keep it in your hotbar for fastest access.
