Growing and Harvesting Ender Tendrils

Ender Tendril seeds are rare drops found in loot chests. Plant them on the underside of any block, and they'll grow downward over time.

As tendrils grow, they periodically produce flowering nodes along their length. These nodes eventually mature into Tendril Pearls. Break any part of the tendril to harvest it; the entire plant collapses and drops all pearls it has produced, plus occasionally extra seeds.

Tendril Pearls work as ender pearl substitutes in most recipes using the forge:ender_pearls tag, making them useful for modded progression. In The End dimension, you'll find inverted tendril variants that drop seeds when broken, giving you a renewable source to start your farm.
