How to Fix the Dragon Revamp Not Showing Up

Confirm the Pack Is Actually Loaded

A revamp pack only changes textures, so if the dragon still looks vanilla, the pack is either disabled or losing a conflict. Open your resource pack screen and make sure it sits in the "Selected" column, not the available one. Then drag it to the top of the list — packs lower down get overridden by packs above them.

Check for Conflicting Packs

1. Disable every other pack that alters the Ender Dragon, dragon fireball, or Elytra.

2. Reload with F3+T (or the reload button in the pack menu) so textures re-stitch without restarting.

3. Visit the End and look at the dragon. If it is still vanilla, another pack is still winning the conflict.

Things That Are Not Bugs

  • Already-spawned dragons sometimes keep cached appearance until you leave and re-enter the dimension.
  • The dragon fireball is a separate texture; if the dragon updated but the fireball did not, that is a conflict on the fireball file specifically, not a broken pack.
  • Server-side resource pack prompts can silently apply a different pack. Decline the server pack or ask for this one to be included.

If the dragon, fireball, and both Elytra textures all update, the pack is working correctly.
