Making Enchanted Armor and Tools Stand Out in Your Inventory
A vibrant glint is most useful when it helps you spot your good gear at a glance. Here is how to lean into that.
Organize so the glow does the work
Because enchanted items now shimmer with a radiant aura, you can sort your inventory by enchantment rather than by item type. Keep enchanted tools and armor in fixed slots or a dedicated chest row so the glow becomes a visual signal. When you open a chest, your best gear should be the first thing your eye catches.
Use it in the field
- In your hotbar, place enchanted weapons and tools in consistent slots. The brighter glint makes it obvious which slot holds your enchanted pickaxe versus a plain spare.
- For armor, the glow on equipped pieces helps you confirm at a glance that you are wearing your enchanted set and not a plain backup after a death or swap.
Pair it with your display habits
If you show off gear in item frames or on armor stands, the enhanced glow reads much better than the vanilla sheen and makes a display feel deliberate. Put your enchanted set on stands facing the room, and keep unenchanted spares out of the display area so the contrast stays clear.
Keep it consistent
Once you settle on slots and chest rows, stick to them. The pack's value comes from the glow being a reliable cue, and that only works if your layout does not change every session.
