Fixing Enchantment Glows Not Showing on Your Enchanted Items

You installed the pack, enchanted something, and the glint looks the same as always. Work through these checks in order.

Rule out conflicts first

This is the most common cause. Another resource pack that edits the enchantment glint texture, item models, or the glint shader will fight with Enchantment Glows. Disable every other pack except this one and test. If the glow appears, re-enable your other packs one at a time, keeping Enchantment Glows above them, until you find the culprit.

Verify the item is actually enchanted

Obvious, but easy to miss: an item with no enchantments has no glint to enhance. Check the item's tooltip. Also note that some enchanted books and certain items may render differently depending on your client.

Check client-side rendering options

• Disable any glint-removal or "clean" item option in your client settings.
• Make sure you are not running a shader pack that overrides the glint. Toggle shaders off and look again.
• Reload resources after any change instead of assuming it applied live.

Last resort

Delete the pack from your resource pack folder, re-add it, and place it at the top of the list. If the glow still will not show on any enchanted item, the pack may simply be incompatible with your current game version's glint format.
