Combining Enchantment Glows With Other Resource Packs Without Breaking It

Most players run several packs at once, and the glint is one of the easiest things to accidentally override. Here is how to stack packs safely.

Understand load order

Resource packs apply top-down, with higher packs winning conflicts. Enchantment Glows only changes the enchantment glint, so it conflicts with any pack that also edits the glint texture or the glint rendering. To keep the vibrant glow, place Enchantment Glows above packs that touch item visuals.

Build a stable order

1. Put Enchantment Glows near the top, above general texture packs and UI packs.

2. Keep packs that change unrelated things, like sounds or fonts, wherever they already sit, since they will not conflict.

3. If you use a pack specifically designed to remove or recolor the glint, pick one or the other. They cannot both win.

Test after every change

Add or move one pack at a time, then enchant a cheap item and check the glow in your inventory and in hand. If the glow reverts to the vanilla sheen, the pack you just added is overriding it, so move Enchantment Glows above it.

Watch for shader conflicts

Shader packs can replace the glint independently of resource packs. If your glow disappears only when shaders are on, that is a shader setting, not a pack order problem. Toggle the shader's glint option or switch shaders to keep the effect.
