Press Oil from Crops

Gather Oil-Bearing Crops

Farm rapeseed or other oil-producing crops. These can be grown through standard farming mechanics and harvested when mature.

Set Up an Oil Press

Place an oil pressing station on the ground. Position it near a heat source—fire blocks, magma blocks, or lava work well depending on which oil you're making. Different heat sources produce different oil types (standard, chili, or magma chili oil).

Activate the Press

Place your harvested crops into the oil press. Drop an anvil or stone block onto the press from above to activate it. The weight triggers the pressing mechanism, extracting oil into a collection basin below.

Collect Your Oil

Once processing completes, collect the oil from the basin. You now have cooking oil ready to brush onto skewers during grilling, or to use in other cooking applications. Store oils in containers for later use during your cooking sessions.
