Assemble and Cook Your First Skewer

Prepare Your Materials

Gather a wooden stick and place it in your off-hand slot. Hold a raw food ingredient (beef, pork, chicken, fish, squid, or potato) in your main hand.

Thread the Skewer

Right-click while holding the ingredient. The food will thread onto the stick, creating a raw skewer. Repeat this process to add up to three ingredients to a single skewer. You can mix different foods or stack the same ingredient multiple times.

Set Up Your Grill

Place a charcoal grill block on the ground. Use flint and steel on the grill to light the coals—you'll see flames appear.

Cook the Skewer

Right-click the lit grill while holding your raw skewer to place it on the cooking surface. You can cook up to three skewers simultaneously. The skewer requires active care: brush it with oil using an oil pot, flip it four times during cooking, and add seasoning before it burns. Watch for the ruined meat state—remove your skewer before this happens.

Eat and Enjoy

Once cooked, eat your skewer while it retains its hot food status to gain bonus saturation and any seasoning buffs you applied.
