Magic Crystals are the foundation of your wizardry journey. They spawn underground like ore and are essential for crafting your first wand and upgrading existing ones.

Where to Look

Magic Crystals generate at various depths throughout the Overworld. Strip mining or cave exploring will reveal them embedded in stone. They have a distinctive appearance that stands out from regular ore blocks.

Mining Tips

Use any pickaxe to collect them—they don't require a specific tool tier. Mine multiple crystals early on, as you'll need them for:

• Crafting your initial wand
• Upgrading wand tiers
• Trading with friendly wizards
• Crafting certain magical items

Efficient Gathering

Focus your mining efforts between Y-levels where ore spawning is most common. Branch mining creates predictable corridors for systematic collection. If you find a cluster, mark it for later—you'll return as you progress and need more resources.

Alternatively, explore dungeons and generated structures; Magic Crystals also appear in loot chests, though mining is more reliable for gathering quantities.
