Starting Your First Ritual

Begin by creating a magical willow tree: drop an oak sapling and deepslate into water and collect the willow sapling that surfaces. Plant it and harvest the wood to craft chalk and a Willow Altar.

With your altar built, you can now perform rituals. Draw chalk circles on the ground around your altar to create ritual spaces. Consult your grimoire book—included in the mod—for specific recipes and ritual instructions.

As you progress, craft elemental sigils using different types of magical power (earth, fire, water, air, light, shadow, and astral). These sigils fuel your rituals and enable advanced crafting at the Willow Altar. Mine rare astral resources to unlock upgraded gear and materials. You can also summon spirit companions like wisps and an axolotl familiar to aid you on your journey.
