Fighting the Nine Variants

Egg's Zombies adds nine distinct undead types, each requiring different tactics. Puker zombies spit acid that damages you over time and accelerates nearby undead—keep your distance. Riot variants can disable your shield, so switch to sword-only combat against them.

Crawlers squeeze through one-block gaps and inflict slowness when they bite your legs, so watch your footing in tight spaces. Flayed zombies are silent and extremely fast assassins that are hard to hear coming.

Hazmat enemies are immune to potion effects and release a poison cloud upon death, so avoid standing near their corpses. Firefighter variants ignore fire and break wooden doors, making them dangerous near your base.

Armored military soldiers and other heavy variants require sustained damage. All enemies have custom animations that telegraph their attacks—learn to read them for better survival chances.
